The Apple Watch 2 is on Sale for Its Lowest Price Ever

When the Series 2 Apple Watch was first released in September 2016, we remarked that finally, we had a smartwatch that could replace all other fitness trackers. It took an already great first version Apple Watch and made improvements that impressed our editors’ high bar for excellence.

With the Series 2, Apple built in a GPS radio so that you can leave your phones behind on long jogs, while still tracking your steps and listening to music. They also made the Series 2 watch completely waterproof up to 50 meters by building in technology that ejects any water that gets into the speaker and allowing you to “water lock” the display, preventing false taps.

The team at Apple also made the activity hub compatible with external fitness apps like Strava and Nike+. The new dual-core processor makes updating apps and quicker. And, the screen is fifty percent brighter than it’s predecessor, so you can see it better out on a bright summer day and on your evening jogs.
